10
that I may 1know Him and 2the power of His resurrection and 3the fellowship of His sufferings, being 4conformed to His death;
11
in order that I may 5attain to the resurrection from the dead.
12
Not that I have already6obtained it or have already7become perfect, but I press on so that I may 8layhold of that for which also I 9was laidhold of by 10ChristJesus.
13
Brethren, I do not regardmyself as having laidhold of it yet; but onething I do: 11forgetting what lies behind and reachingforward to what lies ahead,
14
I 12press on toward the goal for the prize of the 13upwardcall of God in 14ChristJesus.
15
Let us therefore, as many as are 15perfect, havethisattitude; and if in anything you have a 16differentattitude, 17God will reveal that also to you;
16
however, let us keep 18living by that same standard to which we have attained.
17
Brethren, 19join* in following my example, and observethose who walkaccording to the 20pattern you have in us.
18
For 21manywalk, of whom I oftentold you, and nowtell you even22weeping, that they are enemies of 23the cross of Christ,
19
whoseend is destruction, whosegod is their 24appetite, and whose 25glory is in their shame, who 26set their minds on earthlythings.
20
For 27our citizenship is in heaven, from whichalso we eagerly28wait for a Savior, the LordJesusChrist;
21
who will 29transform the body of our humblestate into 30conformity with the 31body of His glory, 32by the exertion of the power that He haseven to 33subjectallthings to Himself.
