Provérbios 17:23-28

23 O ímpio aceita às escondidas o subornopara desviar o curso da justiça.

24 O homem de discernimento mantém a sabedoria em vista,mas os olhos do tolo vagueiam até os confins da terra.

25 O filho tolo é a tristeza do seu paie a amargura daquela que o deu à luz.

26 Não é bom castigar o inocente,nem açoitar quem merece ser honrado.

27 Quem tem conhecimento é comedido no falar,e quem tem entendimento é de espírito sereno.

28 Até o insensato passará por sábio se ficar quietoe, se contiver a língua, parecerá que tem discernimento.

INTRODUCTION TO 1 KINGS 7

This chapter gives an account of some buildings of Solomon for himself, 1Ki 7:1-12; and of other things for the use of the temple; of two pillars of brass, 1Ki 7:13-22; of the molten sea, 1Ki 7:23-26; and of ten bases, and ten layers on them, 1Ki 7:27-39; with other utensils and ornaments, 1Ki 7:40-51.
