Psalm 104:16-26 (New International Version)

View In My Bible
16 The trees of the LORD1 are well watered, the cedars of Lebanon2 that he planted. 17 There the birds3 make their nests; the stork has its home in the pine trees. 18 The high mountains belong to the wild goats;4 the crags are a refuge for the coneys.a5 19 The moon marks off the seasons,6 and the sun7 knows when to go down. 20 You bring darkness,8 it becomes night,9 and all the beasts of the forest10 prowl. 21 The lions roar for their prey11 and seek their food from God.12 22 The sun rises, and they steal away; they return and lie down in their dens.13 23 Then man goes out to his work,14 to his labor until evening.15 24 How many are your works,16 O LORD! In wisdom you made17 them all; the earth is full of your creatures.18 25 There is the sea,19 vast and spacious, teeming with creatures beyond number-- living things both large and small.20 26 There the ships21 go to and fro, and the leviathan,22 which you formed to frolic23 there.24
