There the birds3 make their nests; the stork has its home in the pine trees.
The high mountains belong to the wild goats;4 the crags are a refuge for the coneys.a519
The moon marks off the seasons,6 and the sun7 knows when to go down.
You bring darkness,8 it becomes night,9 and all the beasts of the forest10 prowl.
The lions roar for their prey11 and seek their food from God.1222
The sun rises, and they steal away; they return and lie down in their dens.1323
Then man goes out to his work,14 to his labor until evening.1524
