I have taken an oath1 and confirmed it, that I will follow your righteous laws.2107
I have suffered much; preserve my life,3 O LORD, according to your word.
Accept, O LORD, the willing praise of my mouth,4 and teach me your laws.5109
Though I constantly take my life in my hands,6 I will not forget7 your law.
The wicked have set a snare8 for me, but I have not strayed9 from your precepts.
Your statutes are my heritage forever; they are the joy of my heart.10112
My heart is set11 on keeping your decrees to the very end.12
I hate double-minded men,13 but I love your law.14114
You are my refuge and my shield;15 I have put my hope16 in your word.
Away from me,17 you evildoers, that I may keep the commands of my God!
Sustain me18 according to your promise,19 and I will live; do not let my hopes be dashed.20
