O Lord, hear my voice.1 Let your ears be attentive2 to my cry for mercy.3

If you, O LORD, kept a record of sins, O Lord, who could stand?4

But with you there is forgiveness;5 therefore you are feared.6

I wait for the LORD,7 my soul waits,8 and in his word9 I put my hope.

My soul waits for the Lord more than watchmen10 wait for the morning, more than watchmen wait for the morning.11

O Israel, put your hope12 in the LORD, for with the LORD is unfailing love13 and with him is full redemption.14
8
He himself will redeem15 Israel from all their sins.16
