Good and upright1 is the LORD; therefore he instructs2 sinners in his ways.
He guides3 the humble in what is right and teaches them4 his way.
All the ways of the LORD are loving and faithful5 for those who keep the demands of his covenant.611
For the sake of your name,7 O LORD, forgive8 my iniquity,9 though it is great.
Who, then, is the man that fears the LORD?10 He will instruct him in the way11 chosen for him.
He will spend his days in prosperity,12 and his descendants will inherit the land.1314
The LORD confides14 in those who fear him; he makes his covenant known15 to them.
My eyes are ever on the LORD,16 for only he will release my feet from the snare.1716
Turn to me18 and be gracious to me,19 for I am lonely20 and afflicted.
The troubles21 of my heart have multiplied; free me from my anguish.2218
Look upon my affliction23 and my distress24 and take away all my sins.25
