5
For in the day of trouble1 he will keep me safe2 in his dwelling; he will hide me3 in the shelter of his tabernacle and set me high upon a rock.46
Then my head will be exalted5 above the enemies who surround me;6 at his tabernacle will I sacrifice7 with shouts of joy;8 I will sing9 and make music10 to the LORD.
7
Hear my voice11 when I call, O LORD; be merciful to me and answer me.128
My heart says of you, "Seek hisa face!13" Your face, LORD, I will seek.
9
Do not hide your face14 from me, do not turn your servant away in anger;15 you have been my helper.16 Do not reject me or forsake17 me, O God my Savior.1810
Though my father and mother forsake me, the LORD will receive me.
11
Teach me your way,19 O LORD; lead me in a straight path20 because of my oppressors.2112
Do not turn me over to the desire of my foes, for false witnesses22 rise up against me, breathing out violence.
13
I am still confident of this: I will see the goodness of the LORD23 in the land of the living.2414
Wait25 for the LORD; be strong26 and take heart and wait for the LORD.
