A psalm. A song. For the dedication of the temple. Of David.

1 I will exalt¹ you, O LORD, for you lifted me out of the depths² and did not let my enemies gloat over me.³ 2 O LORD my God, I called to you for help⁴ and you healed me.⁵ 3 O LORD, you brought me up from the grave^a;⁶ you spared me from going down into the pit.⁷ 4 Sing⁸ to the LORD, you saints⁹ of his; praise his holy name.¹⁰ 5 For his anger¹¹ lasts only a moment,¹² but his favor lasts a lifetime;¹³ weeping¹⁴ may remain for a night, but rejoicing comes in the morning.¹⁵
