Sing joyfully1 to the LORD, you righteous; it is fitting2 for the upright3 to praise him.

Praise the LORD with the harp;4 make music to him on the ten-stringed lyre.5

Sing to him a new song;6 play skillfully, and shout for joy.7

For the word of the LORD is right8 and true;9 he is faithful10 in all he does.

The LORD loves righteousness and justice;11 the earth is full of his unfailing love.12

By the word13 of the LORD were the heavens made,14 their starry host15 by the breath of his mouth.

He gathers the waters16 of the sea into jarsa;17 he puts the deep into storehouses.
8
Let all the earth fear the LORD;18 let all the people of the world19 revere him.20
9
For he spoke, and it came to be; he commanded,21 and it stood firm.
