An oracle is within my heart concerning the sinfulness of the wicked:a1 There is no fear2 of God before his eyes.32
For in his own eyes he flatters himself too much to detect or hate his sin.43
The words of his mouth5 are wicked and deceitful;6 he has ceased to be wise7 and to do good.84
Even on his bed he plots evil;9 he commits himself to a sinful course10 and does not reject what is wrong.115
Your love, O LORD, reaches to the heavens, your faithfulness12 to the skies.136
Your righteousness14 is like the mighty mountains,15 your justice like the great deep.16 O LORD, you preserve both man and beast.177
How priceless is your unfailing love!18 Both high and low among men findb refuge in the shadow of your wings.198
They feast on the abundance of your house;20 you give them drink from your river21 of delights.229
For with you is the fountain of life;23 in your light24 we see light.
10
Continue your love25 to those who know you,26 your righteousness to the upright in heart.2711
May the foot of the proud not come against me, nor the hand of the wicked28 drive me away.

See how the evildoers lie fallen-- thrown down, not able to rise!29
