1
Give ear1 to my words, O LORD, consider my sighing.22
Listen to my cry for help,3 my King and my God,4 for to you I pray.
3
In the morning,5 O LORD, you hear my voice; in the morning I lay my requests before you and wait in expectation.64
You are not a God who takes pleasure in evil; with you the wicked7 cannot dwell.
5
The arrogant8 cannot stand9 in your presence; you hate10 all who do wrong.
6
You destroy those who tell lies;11 bloodthirsty and deceitful men the LORD abhors.
7
But I, by your great mercy, will come into your house; in reverence12 will I bow down13 toward your holy temple.148
Lead me, O LORD, in your righteousness15 because of my enemies-- make straight your way16 before me.
9

Declare them guilty, O God! Let their intrigues be their downfall. Banish them for their many sins,19 for they have rebelled20 against you.
11
But let all who take refuge in you be glad; let them ever sing for joy.21 Spread your protection over them, that those who love your name22 may rejoice in you.2312
For surely, O LORD, you bless the righteous;24 you surround them25 with your favor as with a shield.26
