O you who hear prayer, to you all men will come.13
When we were overwhelmed by sins,2 you forgavea our transgressions.34
Blessed are those you choose4 and bring near5 to live in your courts! We are filled with the good things of your house,6 of your holy temple.
You answer us with awesome deeds of righteousness,7 O God our Savior,8 the hope of all the ends of the earth9 and of the farthest seas,106
who formed the mountains11 by your power, having armed yourself with strength,127
who stilled the roaring of the seas,13 the roaring of their waves, and the turmoil of the nations.148
Those living far away fear your wonders; where morning dawns and evening fades you call forth songs of joy.159
You care for the land and water it;16 you enrich it abundantly.17 The streams of God are filled with water to provide the people with grain,18 for so you have ordained it.b10
You drench its furrows and level its ridges; you soften it with showers19 and bless its crops.
You crown the year with your bounty,20 and your carts overflow with abundance.2112
The grasslands of the desert overflow;22 the hills are clothed with gladness.23
