He turned the sea into dry land,1 they passed through2 the waters on foot-- come, let us rejoice3 in him.
He rules forever4 by his power, his eyes watch5 the nations-- let not the rebellious6 rise up against him. "Selah"
Praise7 our God, O peoples, let the sound of his praise be heard;
he has preserved our lives8 and kept our feet from slipping.910
For you, O God, tested10 us; you refined us like silver.1111
You brought us into prison12 and laid burdens13 on our backs.
You let men ride over our heads;14 we went through fire and water, but you brought us to a place of abundance.1513
I will come to your temple with burnt offerings16 and fulfill my vows17 to you--
vows my lips promised and my mouth spoke when I was in trouble.
I will sacrifice fat animals to you and an offering of rams; I will offer bulls and goats.18 "Selah"
Come and listen,19 all you who fear God; let me tell20 you what he has done for me.
