Make them like tumbleweed, O my God, like chaff2 before the wind.
As fire consumes the forest or a flame sets the mountains ablaze,315
so pursue them with your tempest4 and terrify them with your storm.516
Cover their faces with shame6 so that men will seek your name, O LORD.
May they ever be ashamed and dismayed;7 may they perish in disgrace.818
