Come,1 let us sing for joy2 to the LORD; let us shout aloud3 to the Rock4 of our salvation.
2
Let us come before him5 with thanksgiving6 and extol him with music7 and song.
3
For the LORD is the great God,8 the great King9 above all gods.10
4
In his hand are the depths of the earth,11 and the mountain peaks belong to him.
5
The sea is his, for he made it, and his hands formed the dry land.12
6
Come, let us bow down13 in worship,14 let us kneel15 before the LORD our Maker;16
7
for he is our God and we are the people of his pasture,17 the flock under his care. Today, if you hear his voice,

do not harden your hearts18 as you did at Meribah,a19 as you did that day at Massahb in the desert,20
9
where your fathers tested21 and tried me, though they had seen what I did.
10
For forty years22 I was angry with that generation; I said, "They are a people whose hearts go astray,23 and they have not known my ways."24
11
So I declared on oath25 in my anger, "They shall never enter my rest."26
