View In My Bible

For the director of music. To [the tune of] "The Death of the Son." A psalm of David.

1 I will praise you, O LORD, with all my heart;1 I will tell of all your wonders.2 2 I will be glad and rejoice3 in you; I will sing praise4 to your name,5 O Most High. 3 My enemies turn back; they stumble and perish before you. 4 For you have upheld my right6 and my cause;7 you have sat on your throne,8 judging righteously.9 5 You have rebuked the nations10 and destroyed the wicked; you have blotted out their name11 for ever and ever. 6 Endless ruin has overtaken the enemy, you have uprooted their cities;12 even the memory of them13 has perished. 7 The LORD reigns forever;14 he has established his throne15 for judgment. 8 He will judge the world in righteousness;16 he will govern the peoples with justice.17 9 The LORD is a refuge18 for the oppressed,19 a stronghold in times of trouble.20 10 Those who know your name21 will trust in you, for you, LORD, have never forsaken22 those who seek you.23
