Psalm 9:6-16 (New International Version)

View In My Bible
6 Endless ruin has overtaken the enemy, you have uprooted their cities;1 even the memory of them2 has perished. 7 The LORD reigns forever;3 he has established his throne4 for judgment. 8 He will judge the world in righteousness;5 he will govern the peoples with justice.6 9 The LORD is a refuge7 for the oppressed,8 a stronghold in times of trouble.9 10 Those who know your name10 will trust in you, for you, LORD, have never forsaken11 those who seek you.12 11 Sing praises13 to the LORD, enthroned in Zion;14 proclaim among the nations15 what he has done.16 12 For he who avenges blood17 remembers; he does not ignore the cry of the afflicted.18 13 O LORD, see how my enemies19 persecute me! Have mercy20 and lift me up from the gates of death,21 14 that I may declare your praises22 in the gates of the Daughter of Zion23 and there rejoice in your salvation.24 15 The nations have fallen into the pit they have dug;25 their feet are caught in the net they have hidden.26 16 The LORD is known by his justice; the wicked are ensnared by the work of their hands.27 "Higgaion."a "Selah"
