Then I looked, and there before me was the Lamb,1 standing on Mount Zion,2 and with him 144,0003 who had his name and his Father's name4 written on their foreheads.52
And I heard a sound from heaven like the roar of rushing waters6 and like a loud peal of thunder.7 The sound I heard was like that of harpists playing their harps.83
And they sang a new song9 before the throne and before the four living creatures10 and the elders.11 No one could learn the song except the 144,00012 who had been redeemed from the earth.
These are those who did not defile themselves with women, for they kept themselves pure.13 They follow the Lamb wherever he goes.14 They were purchased from among men15 and offered as firstfruits16 to God and the Lamb.
No lie was found in their mouths;17 they are blameless.18
Then I saw another angel flying in midair,19 and he had the eternal gospel to proclaim to those who live on the earth20--to every nation, tribe, language and people.217
He said in a loud voice, "Fear God22 and give him glory,23 because the hour of his judgment has come. Worship him who made24 the heavens, the earth, the sea and the springs of water."258
A second angel followed and said, "Fallen! Fallen is Babylon the Great,26 which made all the nations drink the maddening wine of her adulteries."279
A third angel followed them and said in a loud voice: "If anyone worships the beast28 and his image29 and receives his mark on the forehead30 or on the hand,
