A third angel followed them and said in a loud voice: "If anyone worships the beast1 and his image2 and receives his mark on the forehead3 or on the hand,
he, too, will drink of the wine of God's fury,4 which has been poured full strength into the cup of his wrath.5 He will be tormented with burning sulfur6 in the presence of the holy angels and of the Lamb.
And the smoke of their torment rises for ever and ever.7 There is no rest day or night8 for those who worship the beast and his image,9 or for anyone who receives the mark of his name."1012
This calls for patient endurance11 on the part of the saints12 who obey God's commandments13 and remain faithful to Jesus.
