through whom we have gained access1 by faith into this grace in which we now stand.2 And wea rejoice in the hope3 of the glory of God.
Not only so, but web also rejoice in our sufferings,4 because we know that suffering produces perseverance;54
perseverance, character; and character, hope.
And hope6 does not disappoint us, because God has poured out his love7 into our hearts by the Holy Spirit,8 whom he has given us.
You see, at just the right time,9 when we were still powerless,10 Christ died for the ungodly.117
Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous man, though for a good man someone might possibly dare to die.
