Deuteronomy 10:4

4 And 1he wrote on the tablets, in the same writing as before, the Ten Commandments[a]2that the LORD had spoken to you on the mountain out of the midst of the fire 3on the day of the assembly. And the LORD gave them to me.

Deuteronomy 10:4

And he wrote on the tables according to the first writing
The same laws, in the same letters:

the ten commandments which the Lord spake unto you in the mount;
in Mount Sinai, on which he descended, and from whence he delivered the decalogue by word of mouth in an audible manner, that all the people could hear it:

out of the midst of the fire;
in which he descended, and where he continued, and from whence he spake, so that it was indeed a fiery law;

in the day of the assembly;
when all the people of Israel were assembled together at the bottom of the mount to hear it:

and the Lord gave them unto me;
the two tables, when he had wrote upon them the ten commands.

2 And I will write on the tablets the words that were on the first tablets that you broke, and you shall put them in the ark.'
3 So I made an ark of acacia wood, and cut two tablets of stone like the first, and went up the mountain with the two tablets in my hand.
4 And he wrote on the tablets, in the same writing as before, the Ten Commandmentsthat the LORD had spoken to you on the mountain out of the midst of the fire on the day of the assembly. And the LORD gave them to me.
5 Then I turned and came down from the mountain and put the tablets in the ark that I had made. And there they are, as the LORD commanded me."
6 (The people of Israel journeyed from Beeroth Bene-jaakan to Moserah. There Aaron died, and there he was buried. And his son Eleazar ministered as priest in his place.
