Ezekiel 31:1

And it came to pass in the eleventh year
Of Zedekiah's reign, and Jeconiah's captivity: in the third month, in the first day of the month:
the month Sivan, which began on the twentieth of our May, and answers to part of May, and part of June; this was about seven weeks after the former prophecy, and about five weeks before the destruction of Jerusalem; according to Bishop Usher ^F14, this was on the nineteenth of June, on the first day of the week, in 3416 A.M. or before Christ 588: that the word of the Lord came unto me, saying;

1 In the eleventh year, in the third month, on the first of the month, the word of the LORD came to me saying,

2 "Son of man, say to Pharaoh king of Egypt and to his hordes, 'Whom are you like in your greatness?

3 'Behold, Assyria was a cedar in Lebanon With beautiful branches and forest shade, And very high, And its top was among the clouds.

4 'The waters made it grow, the deep made it high. With its rivers it continually extended all around its planting place, And sent out its channels to all the trees of the field.

5 'Therefore its height was loftier than all the trees of the field And its boughs became many and its branches long Because of many waters as it spread them out.
