11And He looked up and saw the richputting their gifts into the treasury.

And He saw a poorwidowputting in 2twosmallcoppercoins.

And He said, "Truly I say to you, thispoorwidowput in more than all of them;
4
for they all out of their surplusput into the offering; but she out of her povertyput in all that she had3to live on."

4And while some were talkingabout the temple, that it was adorned with beautifulstones and votivegifts, He said,
6
"As for thesethingswhich you are looking at, the days will come in which5there will not be left one stone upon anotherwhich will not be torndown."

They questioned Him, saying, "Teacher, whentherefore will thesethingshappen? And what will be the signwhenthesethings are about to takeplace?"
8
And He said, "See to it that you are not misled; for many will come in My name, saying, '6I am He,' and, 'The time is near.' 7Do not goafter them.
9
"When you hear of wars and disturbances, do not be terrified; for thesethingsmusttakeplacefirst, but the end does not follow immediately."
Things to Come
10Then He continued by saying to them, "Nation will riseagainstnation and kingdomagainstkingdom,
11
and there will be greatearthquakes, and in variousplacesplagues and famines; and there will be terrors and greatsigns from heaven.
12
"But beforeallthesethings, 8they will lay their hands on you and will persecute you, delivering you to the synagogues and prisons, bringing you beforekings and governors for My name'ssake.
13
"9It will lead to an opportunity for your testimony.
14
"10Somake up your minds not to preparebeforehand to defend yourselves;
15
for 11I will give you utterance and wisdomwhichnone of your opponents will be able to resistorrefute.
16
"But you will be betrayedeven by parents and brothers and relatives and friends, and they will put some of you to death,
17
and you will be hated by allbecause of My name.
