4 Entra luego , y cierra la puerta tras ti y tras tus hijos; y echa en todos los vasos, y en estando uno lleno, ponlo aparte.

2 Kings 4:4

And when thou art come in
Into her house:

thou shall shut the door upon thee, and upon thy sons;
that they might be alone in the house while the miracle was working; that they might not be interrupted in what they were to do, by the creditor coming in upon them, or by neighbours, who would be for getting the oil from them in the vessels they had lent them: and that the miracle might appear the plainer, no oil being brought into the house by any:

and shalt pour out into all these vessels;
out of the single pot of oil into all they borrowed:

and thou shalt set aside that which is full;
by itself, and fill the rest of the empty ones.

2 Y Eliseo le dijo: ¿Qué te haré yo ? Declárame qué tienes en casa. Y ella dijo: Tu sierva ninguna cosa tiene en casa, sino una botija de aceite.

3 Y él le dijo: Ve, y pide para ti vasos prestados de todos tus vecinos, vasos vacíos, no pocos.

4 Entra luego , y cierra la puerta tras ti y tras tus hijos; y echa en todos los vasos, y en estando uno lleno, ponlo aparte.

5 Y se partió la mujer de él, y cerró la puerta tras sí y tras sus hijos; y ellos le llegaban los vasos , y ella echaba del aceite .

6 Y cuando los vasos fueron llenos, dijo a su hijo: Tráeme aún otro vaso. Y él dijo: No hay más vasos. Entonces cesó el aceite.
