Titus 2:11-14 (New International Version)

11 For the grace1 of God that brings salvation has appeared2 to all men.3 12 It teaches us to say "No" to ungodliness and worldly passions,4 and to live self-controlled,5 upright and godly lives6 in this present age, 13 while we wait for the blessed hope--the glorious appearing7 of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ,8 14 who gave himself for us9 to redeem us from all wickedness10 and to purify11 for himself a people that are his very own,12 eager to do what is good.13
