A" miktam "of David."

1 Keep me safe,1 my God, for in you I take refuge.2 2 I say to the LORD, "You are my Lord;3 apart from you I have no good thing."4 3 I say of the godly5 who are in the land,6 "They are the noble people in whom is all my delight." 4 Those who run after other gods7 will suffer8 more and more. I will not pour out their libations of blood or take up their names9 on my lips. 5 LORD, you have assigned me my portion10 and my cup;11 you have made my lot12 secure. 6 The boundary lines13 have fallen for me in pleasant places; surely I have a delightful inheritance.14 7 I will praise the LORD, who counsels me;15 even at night16 my heart instructs me. 8 I keep my eyes always on the LORD. With him at my right hand,17 I will not be shaken.18 9 Therefore my heart is glad19 and my tongue rejoices; my body also will rest secure,20 10 because you will not abandon me to the realm of the dead,21 nor will you let your faithfula one22 see decay.23 11 You make known to me the path of life;24 you will fill me with joy in your presence,25 with eternal pleasures26 at your right hand.27
