1
Hear me, LORD, and answer1 me, for I am poor and needy.
2
Guard my life, for I am faithful to you; save your servant who trusts in you.2 You are my God;
3
have mercy3 on me, Lord, for I call4 to you all day long.
4
Bring joy to your servant, Lord, for I put my trust5 in you.
5
You, Lord, are forgiving and good, abounding in love6 to all who call to you.
6
Hear my prayer, LORD; listen to my cry7 for mercy.
7
When I am in distress,8 I call9 to you, because you answer10 me.
8
Among the gods11 there is none like you,12 Lord; no deeds can compare with yours.
9
All the nations you have made will come13 and worship14 before you, Lord; they will bring glory15 to your name.
10
For you are great16 and do marvelous deeds;17 you alone18 are God.
11
Teach me your way,19 LORD, that I may rely on your faithfulness;20 give me an undivided21 heart, that I may fear22 your name.
12
I will praise you, Lord my God, with all my heart;23 I will glorify your name forever.
13
For great is your love toward me; you have delivered me24 from the depths, from the realm of the dead.2514
Arrogant foes are attacking me, O God; a band of ruthless people seeks my life-- they have no regard for you.2615
But you, Lord, are a compassionate and gracious27 God, slow to anger,28 abounding29 in love and faithfulness.3016
Turn to me31 and have mercy32 on me; show your strength33 in behalf of your servant and save the son of a woman who served you before me.3417
Give me a sign35 of your goodness, that my enemies may see it and be put to shame, for you, LORD, have helped me and comforted me.
