View In My Bible
1 The LORD reigns,1 let the earth be glad;2 let the distant shores3 rejoice. 2 Clouds4 and thick darkness5 surround him; righteousness and justice are the foundation of his throne.6 3 Fire7 goes before8 him and consumes9 his foes on every side. 4 His lightning10 lights up the world; the earth11 sees and trembles.12 5 The mountains melt13 like wax14 before the LORD, before the Lord of all the earth.15 6 The heavens proclaim his righteousness,16 and all peoples see his glory.17 7 All who worship images18 are put to shame,19 those who boast in idols20-- worship him,21 all you gods!22 8 Zion hears and rejoices and the villages of Judah are glad23 because of your judgments,24 LORD. 9 For you, LORD, are the Most High25 over all the earth;26 you are exalted27 far above all gods. 10 Let those who love the LORD hate evil,28 for he guards29 the lives of his faithful ones30 and delivers31 them from the hand of the wicked.32 11 Light shinesa33 on the righteous34 and joy on the upright in heart.35 12 Rejoice in the LORD,36 you who are righteous, and praise his holy name.37
