1
I will praise you, LORD, with all my heart;1 I will tell of all your wonderful deeds.22
I will be glad and rejoice3 in you; I will sing the praises4 of your name,5 O Most High.
3
My enemies turn back; they stumble and perish before you.
4
For you have upheld my right6 and my cause,7 sitting enthroned8 as the righteous judge.95
You have rebuked the nations10 and destroyed the wicked; you have blotted out their name11 for ever and ever.
6
Endless ruin has overtaken my enemies, you have uprooted their cities;12 even the memory of them13 has perished.
7
The LORD reigns forever;14 he has established his throne15 for judgment.
8
He rules the world in righteousness16 and judges the peoples with equity.179
The LORD is a refuge18 for the oppressed,19 a stronghold in times of trouble.2010
Those who know your name21 trust in you, for you, LORD, have never forsaken22 those who seek you.2311
Sing the praises24 of the LORD, enthroned in Zion;25 proclaim among the nations26 what he has done.2712
For he who avenges blood28 remembers; he does not ignore the cries of the afflicted.2913
LORD, see how my enemies30 persecute me! Have mercy31 and lift me up from the gates of death,3214
that I may declare your praises33 in the gates of Daughter Zion,34 and there rejoice in your salvation.3515
The nations have fallen into the pit they have dug;36 their feet are caught in the net they have hidden.3716
The LORD is known by his acts of justice; the wicked are ensnared by the work of their hands.a3817
The wicked go down to the realm of the dead,39 all the nations that forget God.4018
But God will never forget the needy; the hope41 of the afflicted42 will never perish.
19
Arise,43 LORD, do not let mortals triumph;44 let the nations be judged45 in your presence.
20
Strike them with terror,46 LORD; let the nations know they are only mortals.47
