Mínshùjì 27:12-23

12 Yēhéhuá duì Móxī shuō , nǐ shàng zhè yà bā lín shān , guānkàn wǒ suǒ cìgĕi Yǐsèliè rén de dì .

13 Kàn le yǐhòu , nǐ yĕ bì guī dào nǐ lièzǔ ( yuánwén zuò bĕn mín ) nàli , xiàng nǐ gēge Yàlún yíyàng .

14 Yīnwei nǐmen zaì xún de kuàngyĕ , dàng huì zhòng zhēng nào de shíhou , wéibeì le wǒde méng , méiyǒu zaì yǒng shuǐ zhī dì , huì zhòng yǎnqián zūn wǒ wéi shèng . ( zhè shuǐ jiù shì xún de kuàngyĕ Jiādīsī Mǐlìbā shuǐ . )

15 Móxī duì Yēhéhuá shuō ,

16 Yuàn Yēhéhuá wàn rén zhī líng de shén , lì yī gèrén zhìlǐ huì zhòng ,

17 Kĕyǐ zaì tāmen miànqián chūrù , yĕ kĕyǐ yǐndǎo tāmen , miǎndé Yēhéhuá de huì zhòng rútóng méiyǒu mùrén de yáng qún yìbān .

18 Yēhéhuá duì Móxī shuō , nèn de érzi Yuēshūyà , shì xīn zhōng yǒu Shènglíng de , nǐ jiàng tā lǐng lái àn shǒu zaì tā tóu shàng ,

19 Shǐ tā zhàn zaì jìsī YǐlìYàsā hé quánhuì zhòng miànqián , zhǔfu tā ,

20 Yòu jiàng nǐde zūnróng gĕi tā jǐ fèn , shǐ Yǐsèliè quánhuì zhòng dōu tīng cóng tā .

21 Tā yào zhàn zaì jìsī YǐlìYàsā miànqián . YǐlìYàsā yào píng wūlíng de pànduàn , zaì Yēhéhuá miànqián wéi tā qiú wèn . tā hé Yǐsèliè quánhuì zhòng dōu yào zūn YǐlìYàsā de méng chūrù .

22 Yúshì Móxī zhào Yēhéhuá suǒ fēnfu de jiàng Yuēshūyà lǐng lái , shǐ tā zhàn zaì jìsī YǐlìYàsā hé quánhuì zhòng miànqián .

23 Àn shǒu zaì tā tóu shàng , zhǔfu tā , shì zhào Yēhéhuá jiè Móxī suǒ shuō de huà .

Mínshùjì 27:12-23 Meaning and Commentary

INTRODUCTION TO NUMBERS 27

This chapter relates, that, upon a petition of the daughters of Zelophehad, the affair of inheritances was settled; and it is directed that, in case of want of male issue, inheritances should pass to females, and in failure of them to the next of kin, whether father's brethren or any near kinsman, Nu 27:1-11, also an order to Moses to go up to the Mount Abarim, and take a view of the good land, and die; with the reason of it, Nu 27:12-14, upon which Moses desires a successor of him might be appointed, Nu 27:15-17, in answer to which Joshua is nominated, and being presented before the high priest and the people, was invested with his office, by imposition of hands, and had his charge given him, Nu 27:18-23.
