17The woman answered and said, "I have no husband." Jesus said to her, "You have correctly said, 'I have no husband ';18for you have had five husbands, and the one whom you now have is not your husband; this you have said truly."
5A man was there who had been ill for thirty-eight years.6When Jesus saw him lying there, and knew that he had already been a long time in that condition, He said to him, "Do you wish to get well?"7The sick man answered Him, "Sir, I have no man to put me into the pool when the water is stirred up, but while I am coming, another steps down before me."
36"But the testimony which I have is greater than the testimony of John; for the works which the Father has given Me to accomplish -the very works that I do -testify about Me, that the Father has sent Me.
38"You do not have His word abiding in you, for you do not believe Him whom He sent.39"You search the Scriptures because you think that in them you have eternal life; it is these that testify about Me;40and you are unwilling to come to Me so that you may have life.
53So Jesus said to them, "Truly, truly, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink His blood, you have no life in yourselves.54"He who eats My flesh and drinks My blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up on the last day.
35So Jesus said to them, "For a little while longer the Light is among you. Walk while you have the Light, so that darkness will not overtake you; he who walks in the darkness does not know where he goes.36"While you have the Light, believe in the Light, so that you may become sons of Light." These things Jesus spoke, and He went away and hid Himself from them.
21"Whenever a woman is in labor she has pain, because her hour has come; but when she gives birth to the child, she no longer remembers the anguish because of the joy that a child has been born into the world.22"Therefore you too have grief now; but I will see you again, and your heart will rejoice, and no one will take your joy away from you.
10So Pilate said to Him, "You do not speak to me? Do You not know that I have authority to release You, and I have authority to crucify You?"11Jesus answered, "You would have no authority over Me, unless it had been given you from above; for this reason he who delivered Me to you has the greater sin."
