31 "And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bear a son, and you shall name Him Jesus.
21 And when eight days had passed, before His circumcision, His name was then called Jesus, the name given by the angel before He was conceived in the womb.
27 And he came in the Spirit into the temple; and when the parents brought in the child Jesus, to carry out for Him the custom of the Law,
43 and as they were returning, after spending the full number of days, the boy Jesus stayed behind in Jerusalem. But His parents were unaware of it,
52 And Jesus kept increasing in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men.
21 Now when all the people were baptized, Jesus was also baptized, and while He was praying, heaven was opened,
23 When He began His ministry, Jesus Himself was about thirty years of age, being, as was supposed, the son of Joseph, the son of Eli,
29 the son of Joshua, the son of Eliezer, the son of Jorim, the son of Matthat, the son of Levi,
1 Jesus, full of the Holy Spirit, returned from the Jordan and was led around by the Spirit in the wilderness
4 And Jesus answered him, "It is written, 'MAN SHALL NOT LIVE ON BREAD ALONE.' "
8 Jesus answered him, "It is written, 'YOU SHALL WORSHIP THE LORD YOUR GOD AND SERVE HIM ONLY.' "
12 And Jesus answered and said to him, "It is said, 'YOU SHALL NOT PUT THE LORD YOUR GOD TO THE TEST.' "
14 And Jesus returned to Galilee in the power of the Spirit, and news about Him spread through all the surrounding district.
34 "Let us alone! What business do we have with each other, Jesus of Nazareth? Have You come to destroy us? I know who You are-the Holy One of God!" 35 But Jesus rebuked him, saying, "Be quiet and come out of him!" And when the demon had thrown him down in the midst of the people, he came out of him without doing him any harm.
8 But when Simon Peter saw that, he fell down at Jesus' feet, saying, "Go away from me Lord , for I am a sinful man, O Lord !"
10 and so also were James and John, sons of Zebedee, who were partners with Simon. And Jesus said to Simon, "Do not fear, from now on you will be catching men."
12 While He was in one of the cities, behold, there was a man covered with leprosy; and when he saw Jesus, he fell on his face and implored Him, saying, "Lord , if You are willing, You can make me clean."
19 But not finding any way to bring him in because of the crowd, they went up on the roof and let him down through the tiles with his stretcher, into the middle of the crowd, in front of Jesus.
22 But Jesus, aware of their reasonings, answered and said to them, "Why are you reasoning in your hearts?
31 And Jesus answered and said to them, "It is not those who are well who need a physician, but those who are sick.
34 And Jesus said to them, "You cannot make the attendants of the bridegroom fast while the bridegroom is with them, can you?
3 And Jesus answering them said, "Have you not even read what David did when he was hungry, he and those who were with him,
9 And Jesus said to them, "I ask you, is it lawful to do good or to do harm on the Sabbath, to save a life or to destroy it?"
11 But they themselves were filled with rage, and discussed together what they might do to Jesus.
3 When he heard about Jesus, he sent some Jewish elders asking Him to come and save the life of his slave. 4 When they came to Jesus, they earnestly implored Him, saying, "He is worthy for You to grant this to him;
6 Now Jesus started on His way with them; and when He was not far from the house, the centurion sent friends, saying to Him, "Lord , do not trouble Yourself further, for I am not worthy for You to come under my roof;
9 Now when Jesus heard this, He marveled at him, and turned and said to the crowd that was following Him, "I say to you, not even in Israel have I found such great faith."
40 And Jesus answered him, "Simon, I have something to say to you." And he replied, "Say it, Teacher."
28 Seeing Jesus, he cried out and fell before Him, and said in a loud voice, "What business do we have with each other, Jesus, Son of the Most High God? I beg You, do not torment me."
30 And Jesus asked him, "What is your name?" And he said, "Legion "; for many demons had entered him.
35 The people went out to see what had happened; and they came to Jesus, and found the man from whom the demons had gone out, sitting down at the feet of Jesus, clothed and in his right mind; and they became frightened.
39 "Return to your house and describe what great things God has done for you." So he went away, proclaiming throughout the whole city what great things Jesus had done for him. 40 And as Jesus returned, the people welcomed Him, for they had all been waiting for Him. 41 And there came a man named Jairus, and he was an official of the synagogue; and he fell at Jesus' feet, and began to implore Him to come to his house;
45 And Jesus said, "Who is the one who touched Me?" And while they were all denying it, Peter said, "Master, the people are crowding and pressing in on You." 46 But Jesus said, "Someone did touch Me, for I was aware that power had gone out of Me."
50 But when Jesus heard this, He answered him, "Do not be afraid any longer; only believe, and she will be made well."
33 And as these were leaving Him, Peter said to Jesus, "Master, it is good for us to be here; let us make three tabernacles: one for You, and one for Moses, and one for Elijah "-not realizing what he was saying.
36 And when the voice had spoken, Jesus was found alone. And they kept silent, and reported to no one in those days any of the things which they had seen.
41 And Jesus answered and said, "You unbelieving and perverted generation, how long shall I be with you and put up with you? Bring your son here." 42 While he was still approaching, the demon slammed him to the ground and threw him into a convulsion. But Jesus rebuked the unclean spirit, and healed the boy and gave him back to his father.
47 But Jesus, knowing what they were thinking in their heart, took a child and stood him by His side,
50 But Jesus said to him, "Do not hinder him; for he who is not against you is for you."
58 And Jesus said to him, "The foxes have holes and the birds of the air have nests, but the Son of Man has nowhere to lay His head."
62 But Jesus said to him, "No one, after putting his hand to the plow and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God."
29 But wishing to justify himself, he said to Jesus, "And who is my neighbor?" 30 Jesus replied and said, "A man was going down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and fell among robbers, and they stripped him and beat him, and went away leaving him half dead.
37 And he said, "The one who showed mercy toward him." Then Jesus said to him, "Go and do the same."
12 When Jesus saw her, He called her over and said to her, "Woman, you are freed from your sickness."
14 But the synagogue official, indignant because Jesus had healed on the Sabbath, began saying to the crowd in response, "There are six days in which work should be done; so come during them and get healed, and not on the Sabbath day."
3 And Jesus answered and spoke to the lawyers and Pharisees, saying, "Is it lawful to heal on the Sabbath, or not?"
13 and they raised their voices, saying, "Jesus, Master, have mercy on us!"
17 Then Jesus answered and said, "Were there not ten cleansed? But the nine -where are they?
16 But Jesus called for them, saying, "Permit the children to come to Me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.
19 And Jesus said to him, "Why do you call Me good? No one is good except God alone.
22 When Jesus heard this, He said to him, "One thing you still lack; sell all that you possess and distribute it to the poor, and you shall have treasure in heaven; and come, follow Me."
24 And Jesus looked at him and said, "How hard it is for those who are wealthy to enter the kingdom of God!
37 They told him that Jesus of Nazareth was passing by. 38 And he called out, saying, "Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!"
40 And Jesus stopped and commanded that he be brought to Him; and when he came near, He questioned him,
42 And Jesus said to him, "Receive your sight; your faith has made you well."
3 Zaccheus was trying to see who Jesus was, and was unable because of the crowd, for he was small in stature.
5 When Jesus came to the place, He looked up and said to him, "Zaccheus, hurry and come down, for today I must stay at your house."
9 And Jesus said to him, "Today salvation has come to this house, because he, too, is a son of Abraham.
35 They brought it to Jesus, and they threw their coats on the colt and put Jesus on it.
8 And Jesus said to them, "Nor will I tell you by what authority I do these things."
34 Jesus said to them, "The sons of this age marry and are given in marriage,
47 While He was still speaking, behold, a crowd came, and the one called Judas, one of the twelve, was preceding them; and he approached Jesus to kiss Him. 48 But Jesus said to him, "Judas, are you betraying the Son of Man with a kiss?"
51 But Jesus answered and said, "Stop! No more of this." And He touched his ear and healed him. 52 Then Jesus said to the chief priests and officers of the temple and elders who had come against Him, "Have you come out with swords and clubs as you would against a robber?
8 Now Herod was very glad when he saw Jesus; for he had wanted to see Him for a long time, because he had been hearing about Him and was hoping to see some sign performed by Him.
20 Pilate, wanting to release Jesus, addressed them again,
25 And he released the man they were asking for who had been thrown into prison for insurrection and murder, but he delivered Jesus to their will. 26 When they led Him away, they seized a man, Simon of Cyrene, coming in from the country, and placed on him the cross to carry behind Jesus.
28 But Jesus turning to them said, "Daughters of Jerusalem, stop weeping for Me, but weep for yourselves and for your children.
34 But Jesus was saying, "Father, forgive them; for they do not know what they are doing." And they cast lots, dividing up His garments among themselves.
42 And he was saying, "Jesus, remember me when You come in Your kingdom!"
46 And Jesus, crying out with a loud voice, said, "Father, INTO YOUR HANDS I COMMIT MY SPIRIT." Having said this, He breathed His last.
52 this man went to Pilate and asked for the body of Jesus.
3 but when they entered, they did not find the body of the Lord Jesus.
15 While they were talking and discussing, Jesus Himself approached and began traveling with them.
19 And He said to them, "What things?" And they said to Him, "The things about Jesus the Nazarene, who was a prophet mighty in deed and word in the sight of God and all the people,
