24"A disciple is not above his teacher, nor a slave above his master.25"It is enough for the disciple that he become like his teacher, and the slave like his master. If they have called the head of the house Beelzebul, how much more will they malign the members of his household!
27"The slaves of the landowner came and said to him, 'Sir, did you not sow good seed in your field? How then does it have tares?'28"And he said to them, 'An enemy has done this!' The slaves said to him, 'Do you want us, then, to go and gather them up?'
26"So the slave fell to the ground and prostrated himself before him, saying, 'Have patience with me and I will repay you everything.'27"And the lord of that slave felt compassion and released him and forgave him the debt.28"But that slave went out and found one of his fellow slaves who owed him a hundred denarii; and he seized him and began to choke him, saying, 'Pay back what you owe.'
34"When the harvest time approached, he sent his slaves to the vine-growers to receive his produce.35"The vine-growers took his slaves and beat one, and killed another , and stoned a third.36"Again he sent another group of slaves larger than the first; and they did the same thing to them.
3"And he sent out his slaves to call those who had been invited to the wedding feast, and they were unwilling to come.4"Again he sent out other slaves saying, 'Tell those who have been invited, "Behold, I have prepared my dinner; my oxen and my fattened livestock are all butchered and everything is ready; come to the wedding feast."'
45"Who then is the faithful and sensible slave whom his master put in charge of his household to give them their food at the proper time?46"Blessed is that slave whom his master finds so doing when he comes.
