16For this reason it is by faith, in order that it may be in accordance with grace, so that the promise will be guaranteed to all the descendants, not only to those who are of the Law, but also to those who are of the faith of Abraham, who is the father of us all,
15But the free gift is not like the transgression. For if by the transgression of the one the many died, much more did the grace of God and the gift by the grace of the one Man, Jesus Christ, abound to the many.
17For if by the transgression of the one, death reigned through the one, much more those who receive the abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ.
20The Law came in so that the transgression would increase; but where sin increased, grace abounded all the more,21so that, as sin reigned in death, even so grace would reign through righteousness to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord .
5In the same way then, there has also come to be at the present time a remnant according to God's gracious choice.6But if it is by grace, it is no longer on the basis of works, otherwise grace is no longer grace.
3For through the grace given to me I say to everyone among you not to think more highly of himself than he ought to think; but to think so as to have sound judgment, as God has allotted to each a measure of faith.
