1 The LORD spoke to Moshe, saying,
1 Then the LORD said to Moses,
2 "Behold, I have called by name Betzal'el the son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Yehudah:
2 “See, I have chosen Bezalel son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah,
3 and I have filled him with the Spirit of God, in wisdom, and in understanding, and in knowledge, and in all manner of workmanship,
3 and I have filled him with the Spirit of God, with wisdom, with understanding, with knowledge and with all kinds of skills—
4 to devise skillful works, to work in gold, and in silver, and in brass,
4 to make artistic designs for work in gold, silver and bronze,
5 and in cutting of stones for setting, and in carving of wood, to work in all manner of workmanship.

6 I, behold, I have appointed with him Oholi'av, the son of Achisamakh, of the tribe of Dan; and in the heart of all who are wise-hearted I have put wisdom, that they may make all that I have commanded you:
6 Moreover, I have appointed Oholiab son of Ahisamak, of the tribe of Dan, to help him. Also I have given ability to all the skilled workers to make everything I have commanded you:
7 the tent of meeting, the ark of the testimony, the mercy seat that is on it, all the furniture of the Tent,
7 the tent of meeting, the ark of the covenant law with the atonement cover on it, and all the other furnishings of the tent—
8 the table and its vessels, the pure menorah with all its vessels, the altar of incense,
8 the table and its articles, the pure gold lampstand and all its accessories, the altar of incense,
9 the altar of burnt offering with all its vessels, the basin and its base,
9 the altar of burnt offering and all its utensils, the basin with its stand—
10 the finely worked garments -- the holy garments for Aharon the Kohen -- the garments of his sons to minister in the Kohen's office,
10 and also the woven garments, both the sacred garments for Aaron the priest and the garments for his sons when they serve as priests,
11 the anointing oil, and the incense of sweet spices for the holy place: according to all that I have commanded you they shall do."
11 and the anointing oil and fragrant incense for the Holy Place. They are to make them just as I commanded you.”
12 The LORD spoke to Moshe, saying,
12 Then the LORD said to Moses,
13 "Speak also to the children of Yisra'el, saying, 'Most assuredly you shall keep my Shabbatot: for it is a sign between me and you throughout your generations; that you may know that I am the LORD who sanctifies you.
13 “Say to the Israelites, ‘You must observe my Sabbaths. This will be a sign between me and you for the generations to come, so you may know that I am the LORD, who makes you holy.
14 You shall keep the Shabbat therefore; for it is holy to you. Everyone who profanes it shall surely be put to death; for whoever does any work therein, that soul shall be cut off from among his people.
14 “ ‘Observe the Sabbath, because it is holy to you. Anyone who desecrates it is to be put to death; those who do any work on that day must be cut off from their people.
15 Six days shall work be done, but on the seventh day is a Shabbat of solemn rest, holy to the LORD. Whoever does any work on the day of Shabbat shall surely be put to death.
15 For six days work is to be done, but the seventh day is a day of sabbath rest, holy to the LORD. Whoever does any work on the Sabbath day is to be put to death.
16 Therefore the children of Yisra'el shall keep the Shabbat, to observe the Shabbat throughout their generations, for a perpetual covenant.
16 The Israelites are to observe the Sabbath, celebrating it for the generations to come as a lasting covenant.
17 It is a sign between me and the children of Yisra'el forever; for in six days the LORD made heaven and eretz, and on the seventh day he rested, and was refreshed.'"
17 It will be a sign between me and the Israelites forever, for in six days the LORD made the heavens and the earth, and on the seventh day he rested and was refreshed.’ ”
