9 After this Sennacherib, king of Assyria, sent his slaves to Jerusalem (but he <em>himself laid siege</em> against Lachish, and all his power with him) unto Hezekiah king of Judah, and unto all Judah that <em>were</em> at Jerusalem, saying,
