9 Der HERR verzieht nicht die Verheißung, wie es etliche für einen Verzug achten; sondern er hat Geduld mit uns und will nicht, daß jemand verloren werde, sondern daß sich jedermann zur Buße kehre.

The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.
