2 Corinthians 4:13-18

NRS 13 But just as we have the same spirit of faith that is in accordance with scripture—"I believed, and so I spoke"—we also believe, and so we speak, NIV 13 It is written: “I believed; therefore I have spoken.” Since we have that same spirit of faith, we also believe and therefore speak, NRS 14 because we know that the one who raised the Lord Jesus will raise us also with Jesus, and will bring us with you into his presence. NIV 14 because we know that the one who raised the Lord Jesus from the dead will also raise us with Jesus and present us with you to himself. NRS 15 Yes, everything is for your sake, so that grace, as it extends to more and more people, may increase thanksgiving, to the glory of God. NIV 15 All this is for your benefit, so that the grace that is reaching more and more people may cause thanksgiving to overflow to the glory of God. NRS 16 So we do not lose heart. Even though our outer nature is wasting away, our inner nature is being renewed day by day. NIV 16 Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. NRS 17 For this slight momentary affliction is preparing us for an eternal weight of glory beyond all measure, NIV 17 For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. NRS 18 because we look not at what can be seen but at what cannot be seen; for what can be seen is temporary, but what cannot be seen is eternal. NIV 18 So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.
