NRSA 28 These things shall be a perpetual ordinance for Aaron and his sons from the Israelites, for this is an offering; and it shall be an offering by the Israelites from their sacrifice of offerings of well-being, their offering to the Lord. NIV 28 This is always to be the perpetual share from the Israelites for Aaron and his sons. It is the contribution the Israelites are to make to the LORD from their fellowship offerings. NRSA 29 The sacred vestments of Aaron shall be passed on to his sons after him; they shall be anointed in them and ordained in them. NRSA 33 They themselves shall eat the food by which atonement is made, to ordain and consecrate them, but no one else shall eat of them, because they are holy. NIV 33 They are to eat these offerings by which atonement was made for their ordination and consecration. But no one else may eat them, because they are sacred. NRSA 34 If any of the flesh for the ordination, or of the bread, remains until the morning, then you shall burn the remainder with fire; it shall not be eaten, because it is holy. NIV 34 And if any of the meat of the ordination ram or any bread is left over till morning, burn it up. It must not be eaten, because it is sacred. NRSA 35 Thus you shall do to Aaron and to his sons, just as I have commanded you; through seven days you shall ordain them. NIV 35 “Do for Aaron and his sons everything I have commanded you, taking seven days to ordain them. NRSA 36 Also every day you shall offer a bull as a sin offering for atonement. Also you shall offer a sin offering for the altar, when you make atonement for it, and shall anoint it, to consecrate it. NIV 36 Sacrifice a bull each day as a sin offering to make atonement. Purify the altar by making atonement for it, and anoint it to consecrate it. NRSA 37 Seven days you shall make atonement for the altar, and consecrate it, and the altar shall be most holy; whatever touches the altar shall become holy. NIV 37 For seven days make atonement for the altar and consecrate it. Then the altar will be most holy, and whatever touches it will be holy. NRSA 38 Now this is what you shall offer on the altar: two lambs a year old regularly each day. NIV 38 “This is what you are to offer on the altar regularly each day: two lambs a year old. NRSA 39 One lamb you shall offer in the morning, and the other lamb you shall offer in the evening; NIV 39 Offer one in the morning and the other at twilight. NRSA 40 and with the first lamb one-tenth of a measure of choice flour mixed with one-fourth of a hin of beaten oil, and one-fourth of a hin of wine for a drink offering. NIV 40 With the first lamb offer a tenth of an ephah of the finest flour mixed with a quarter of a hin of oil from pressed olives, and a quarter of a hin of wine as a drink offering. NRSA 41 And the other lamb you shall offer in the evening, and shall offer with it a grain offering and its drink offering, as in the morning, for a pleasing odor, an offering by fire to the Lord. NIV 41 Sacrifice the other lamb at twilight with the same grain offering and its drink offering as in the morning—a pleasing aroma, a food offering presented to the LORD. NRSA 42 It shall be a regular burnt offering throughout your generations at the entrance of the tent of meeting before the Lord, where I will meet with you, to speak to you there. NIV 42 “For the generations to come this burnt offering is to be made regularly at the entrance to the tent of meeting, before the LORD. There I will meet you and speak to you; NRSA 43 I will meet with the Israelites there, and it shall be sanctified by my glory; NIV 43 there also I will meet with the Israelites, and the place will be consecrated by my glory. NRSA 44 I will consecrate the tent of meeting and the altar; Aaron also and his sons I will consecrate, to serve me as priests. NIV 44 “So I will consecrate the tent of meeting and the altar and will consecrate Aaron and his sons to serve me as priests. NRSA 45 I will dwell among the Israelites, and I will be their God. NIV 45 Then I will dwell among the Israelites and be their God. NRSA 46 And they shall know that I am the Lord their God, who brought them out of the land of Egypt that I might dwell among them; I am the Lord their God. NIV 46 They will know that I am the LORD their God, who brought them out of Egypt so that I might dwell among them. I am the LORD their God.
