16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly; in all wisdom teaching and admonishing one another with psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your heart to God.

Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom through psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts.
17 Whatever you do, in word or in deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God, the Father, through him.

18 Wives, be in subjection to your husbands, as is fitting in the Lord.

Slaves, obey your earthly masters in everything; and do it, not only when their eye is on you and to curry their favor, but with sincerity of heart and reverence for the Lord.
23 And whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men,

Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters,
24 knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord, Christ.

since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.
25 For he who does wrong will receive again for the wrong that he has done, and there is no partiality.

Anyone who does wrong will be repaid for their wrongs, and there is no favoritism.
