Colossians 3:18-25

NRS 18 Wives, be subject to your husbands, as is fitting in the Lord. NIV 18 Wives, submit yourselves to your husbands, as is fitting in the Lord. NRS 19 Husbands, love your wives and never treat them harshly. NIV 19 Husbands, love your wives and do not be harsh with them. NRS 20 Children, obey your parents in everything, for this is your acceptable duty in the Lord. NIV 20 Children, obey your parents in everything, for this pleases the Lord. NRS 21 Fathers, do not provoke your children, or they may lose heart. NIV 21 Fathers, do not embitter your children, or they will become discouraged. NRS 22 Slaves, obey your earthly masters in everything, not only while being watched and in order to please them, but wholeheartedly, fearing the Lord. NIV 22 Slaves, obey your earthly masters in everything; and do it, not only when their eye is on you and to curry their favor, but with sincerity of heart and reverence for the Lord. NRS 23 Whatever your task, put yourselves into it, as done for the Lord and not for your masters, NIV 23 Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, NRS 24 since you know that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward; you serve the Lord Christ. NIV 24 since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving. NRS 25 For the wrongdoer will be paid back for whatever wrong has been done, and there is no partiality. NIV 25 Anyone who does wrong will be repaid for their wrongs, and there is no favoritism.
