1 Wǒ yào zhàn zaì shǒu wàng suǒ , lì zaì wàng lóu shang guānkàn , kàn Yēhéhuá duì wǒ shuō shénme huà , wǒ kĕ yòng shénme huà xiàng tā sù yuān . ( xiàng tā sù yuān huò zuò huídá suǒ yí wèn de ) .

I will stand at my watch and station myself on the ramparts; I will look to see what he will say to me, and what answer I am to give to this complaint.
2 Tā duì wǒ shuō , jiāng zhè mò shì míng míng dì xiĕ zaì bǎn shang , shǐ dòu de rén róngyi dòu ( huò zuò suí paó suí dòu ) .

Then the LORD replied: “Write down the revelation and make it plain on tablets so that a herald may run with it.
3 Yīnwei zhè mò shì yǒu yídéng de rìqī , kuaì yào yìngyàn , bìng bù xū huǎng . suīrán chíyán , hái yào dĕnghòu . yīnwei bìrán líndào , bú zaì chíyán .

For the revelation awaits an appointed time; it speaks of the end and will not prove false. Though it linger, wait for it; it will certainly come and will not delay.
4 Jiālèdǐ rén zì gāo zì dà , xīn bù zhèngzhí . wéi yì rén yīn xìn dé shēng .

“See, the enemy is puffed up; his desires are not upright— but the righteous person will live by his faithfulness —
5 Jiālèdǐ rén yīn jiǔ guǐzhà , kuángào , bù zhù zaì jiā zhōng , kuò chōng xīn yù , hǎoxiàng yīnjiān . tā rú sǐ bùnéng zhīzú , jùjí wàn guó , duījī wàn mín , dōu guī zìjǐ .

indeed, wine betrays him; he is arrogant and never at rest. Because he is as greedy as the grave and like death is never satisfied, he gathers to himself all the nations and takes captive all the peoples.
6 Zhèxie guó de mín , qǐbù dōu yào tí qǐ shīgē , bìng súyǔ jī cī tā , shuō , huò zāi , Jiālèdǐ rén , nǐ zēngtiān bù shǔ zìjǐ de cáiwù , duō duō qǔ rén de dāngtóu , yào dào jǐshí wéizhǐ ne .

“Will not all of them taunt him with ridicule and scorn, saying, “ ‘Woe to him who piles up stolen goods and makes himself wealthy by extortion! How long must this go on?’
7 Yǎo shāng nǐde qǐbù hūrán qǐlai , rǎo haì nǐde qǐbù xīngqǐ , nǐ jiù zuò tāmende lǔ wù ma .

Will not your creditors suddenly arise? Will they not wake up and make you tremble? Then you will become their prey.
8 Yīn nǐ qiǎngduó xǔduō de guó , shārén liúxuè , xiàng guóneì de chéng , bìng chéng zhōng yīqiè jūmín shīxíng qiángbào , suǒyǐ gè guó shèngxia de mín , dōu bì qiǎngduó nǐ .

Because you have plundered many nations, the peoples who are left will plunder you. For you have shed human blood; you have destroyed lands and cities and everyone in them.
9 Wèi bĕn jiā jīxù bù yì zhī cái , zaì gāo chù dā wō , zhǐwang miǎn zāi de yǒu huò le .

“Woe to him who builds his house by unjust gain, setting his nest on high to escape the clutches of ruin!
10 Nǐ tú móu jiǎnchú duō guó de mín , fàn le zuì , shǐ nǐde jiā méng xiū , zì haì jǐ méng .

You have plotted the ruin of many peoples, shaming your own house and forfeiting your life.
11 Qiáng lǐ de shítou bì hūjiào , fáng neì de liàn liáng bì yìngshēng .

The stones of the wall will cry out, and the beams of the woodwork will echo it.
12 Yǐ rén xuè jiàn chéng , yǐ zuìniè lì yì de yǒu huò le .

“Woe to him who builds a city with bloodshed and establishes a town by injustice!
13 Zhòng mín suǒ laólù dé lái de beì huǒ fùnshāo , liè guó yóu laó fá ér dé de , guīyú xū kōng, bù dōu shì chūyú wàn jūn zhī Yēhéhuá ma .

Has not the LORD Almighty determined that the people’s labor is only fuel for the fire, that the nations exhaust themselves for nothing?
14 Rènshi Yēhéhuá róngyào de zhīshi , yào chōngmǎn biàn dì , hǎoxiàng shuǐ chōngmǎn yáng hǎi yìbān .

For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORDas the waters cover the sea.
15 Gĕi rén jiǔ hē , yòu jiā shang dú wù , shǐ tā hē zuì , hǎokàn jiàn tā xiàtǐ de , yǒu huò le .

“Woe to him who gives drink to his neighbors, pouring it from the wineskin till they are drunk, so that he can gaze on their naked bodies!
16 Nǐ mǎn shòu xiūrǔ , bùdé róngyào . nǐ yĕ hē ba , xiǎn chū shì wèi shòu gēlǐ de . Yēhéhuá yòushǒu de bēi , bì chuán dào nǐ nàli , nǐde róngyào , jiù biàn wèi dàdà dì xiūrǔ .

You will be filled with shame instead of glory. Now it is your turn! Drink and let your nakedness be exposed ! The cup from the LORD’s right hand is coming around to you, and disgrace will cover your glory.
17 Nǐ xiàng Lìbānèn xíng qiángbào , yǔ cánhaì jīngxià yĕshòu de shì , bì zhēgaì nǐ . yīn nǐ shārén liúxuè , xiàng guóneì de chéng , bìng chéng zhōng yīqiè jūmín , shīxíng qiángbào .

The violence you have done to Lebanon will overwhelm you, and your destruction of animals will terrify you. For you have shed human blood; you have destroyed lands and cities and everyone in them.
18 Diāokè de ǒuxiàng , rén jiāng tā kè chūlai , yǒu shénme yìchu ne . zhùzào de ǒuxiàng , jiù shì xū huǎng de shīfu . zhìzào zhĕ yǐkào zhè yē bā ǒuxiàng , yǒu shénme yìchu ne .

“Of what value is an idol carved by a craftsman? Or an image that teaches lies? For the one who makes it trusts in his own creation; he makes idols that cannot speak.
19 Duì mùǒu shuō , xǐng qǐ , duì yē bā dàn/shí xiàng shuō , qǐlai , nà rén yǒu huò le . zhège hái néng jiàoxun rén ma . kàn nǎ , shì bāoguǒ jīn yín de , qízhōng haó wú qìxī .

Woe to him who says to wood, ‘Come to life!’ Or to lifeless stone, ‘Wake up!’ Can it give guidance? It is covered with gold and silver; there is no breath in it.”
20 Wéi Yēhéhuá zaì tāde shèng diàn zhōng . quán dì de rén , dōu dāng zaì tā miànqián sù jìng jìngmò .

The LORD is in his holy temple; let all the earth be silent before him.
