4 Par la foi, Abel offrit à Dieu un plus excellent sacrifice que Caïn, à cause d'elle il fut déclaré juste, Dieu rendant témoignage à ses offrandes; et quoique mort, il parle encore par elle.

By faith Abel brought God a better offering than Cain did. By faith he was commended as righteous, when God spoke well of his offerings. And by faith Abel still speaks, even though he is dead.
