15 ¡Qué aflicción les espera a los que intentan esconder sus planes del Señor<br />,<br />a los que hacen sus malas acciones en la oscuridad!<br />«El Señor<br /> no puede vernos —dicen—,<br />no sabe lo que está pasando».

Woe to those who go to great depths to hide their plans from the LORD, who do their work in darkness and think, “Who sees us? Who will know?”
16 ¿Será posible que sean tan necios?<br />¡Él es el Alfarero y, por cierto, es mayor que ustedes, el barro!<br />¿Acaso la cosa creada puede decir acerca del que la creó:<br />«Él no me hizo»?<br />¿Alguna vez ha dicho una vasija:<br />«El alfarero que me hizo es un tonto»?

You turn things upside down, as if the potter were thought to be like the clay! Shall what is formed say to the one who formed it, “You did not make me”? Can the pot say to the potter, “You know nothing”?
17 Pronto —y no pasará mucho tiempo—<br />los bosques del Líbano se convertirán en un campo fértil,<br />y el campo fértil se convertirá en bosque.

In a very short time, will not Lebanon be turned into a fertile field and the fertile field seem like a forest?
18 En aquel día, los sordos oirán cuando se lean las palabras de un libro<br />y los ciegos verán a través de la neblina y la oscuridad.

In that day the deaf will hear the words of the scroll, and out of gloom and darkness the eyes of the blind will see.
19 Los humildes se llenarán de una alegría nueva de parte del Señor<br />;<br />los pobres se alegrarán en el Santo de Israel.

Once more the humble will rejoice in the LORD; the needy will rejoice in the Holy One of Israel.
20 Los burlones ya no existirán,<br />los arrogantes desaparecerán,<br />y los que traman el mal serán muertos.

The ruthless will vanish, the mockers will disappear, and all who have an eye for evil will be cut down—
21 Los que condenan a los inocentes<br />con sus falsos testimonios desaparecerán.<br />Un destino parecido les espera a los que usan el engaño para pervertir la justicia<br />y mienten para destruir a los inocentes.

those who with a word make someone out to be guilty, who ensnare the defender in court and with false testimony deprive the innocent of justice.
22 Por eso el Señor<br />, quien redimió a Abraham, dice al pueblo de Israel:<br />«Mi pueblo ya no será avergonzado,<br />ni palidecerá de temor.

Therefore this is what the LORD, who redeemed Abraham, says to the descendants of Jacob: “No longer will Jacob be ashamed; no longer will their faces grow pale.
23 Pues cuando vean a sus numerosos hijos<br />y todas las bendiciones que yo les he dado,<br />reconocerán la santidad del Santo de Jacob;<br />quedarán asombrados ante el Dios de Israel.

When they see among them their children, the work of my hands, they will keep my name holy; they will acknowledge the holiness of the Holy One of Jacob, and will stand in awe of the God of Israel.
24 Entonces los descarriados adquirirán entendimiento,<br />y los que se quejan de todo aceptarán la instrucción.

Those who are wayward in spirit will gain understanding; those who complain will accept instruction.”
