1 Liberación para Jerusalén<br />¡Despierta, oh Sión, despierta!<br />Vístete de fuerza.<br />Ponte tus ropas hermosas, oh ciudad santa de Jerusalén,<br />porque ya no volverá a entrar por tus puertas la gente impura que no teme a Dios.

2 Levántate del polvo, oh Jerusalén,<br />y siéntate en un lugar de honor.<br />Quítate del cuello las cadenas de la esclavitud,<br />oh hija cautiva de Sión.

3 Pues esto dice el Señor<br />:<br />«Cuando te vendí al destierro<br />no recibí pago alguno;<br />ahora puedo redimirte<br />sin tener que pagar por ti».

4 Esto dice el Señor<br /> Soberano: «Hace mucho tiempo, mi pueblo decidió vivir en Egipto. Ahora es Asiria la que lo oprime.

5 ¿Qué es esto? —pregunta el Señor<br />—. ¿Por qué está esclavizado mi pueblo nuevamente? Quienes lo gobiernan gritan de júbilo; todo el día blasfeman mi nombre.

6 Pero yo revelaré mi nombre a mi pueblo, y llegará a conocer mi poder. Entonces, por fin mi pueblo reconocerá que soy yo quien le habla».

7 ¡Qué hermosos son sobre los montes<br />los pies del mensajero que trae buenas noticias,<br />buenas noticias de paz y de salvación,<br />las noticias de que el Dios de Israel<br /> reina!

8 Los centinelas gritan y cantan de alegría,<br />porque con sus propios ojos<br />ven al Señor<br /> regresando a Jerusalén.

9 Que las ruinas de Jerusalén canten de alegría,<br />porque el Señor<br /> ha consolado a su pueblo,<br />ha redimido a Jerusalén.

10 El Señor<br /> ha manifestado su santo poder<br />ante los ojos de todas las naciones,<br />y todos los confines de la tierra verán<br />la victoria de nuestro Dios.

11 ¡Salgan! Salgan y dejen atrás su cautiverio,<br />donde todo lo que tocan es impuro.<br />Salgan de allí y purifíquense,<br />ustedes que vuelven a su tierra con los objetos sagrados del Señor<br />.

12 No saldrán con prisa,<br />como quien corre para salvar su vida.<br />Pues el Señor<br /> irá delante de ustedes;<br />atrás los protegerá el Dios de Israel.

13 El Siervo sufriente del Señor<br />Miren, mi siervo prosperará;<br />será muy exaltado.

14 Pero muchos quedaron asombrados cuando lo<br /> vieron.<br />Tenía el rostro tan desfigurado, que apenas parecía un ser humano,<br />y por su aspecto, no se veía como un hombre.

15 Y él alarmará<br /> a muchas naciones;<br />los reyes quedarán mudos ante él.<br />Verán lo que no se les había contado;<br />entenderán lo que no habían oído hablar.

New International Version NIV

1 Awake, awake, Zion, clothe yourself with strength! Put on your garments of splendor, Jerusalem, the holy city. The uncircumcised and defiled will not enter you again.

2 Shake off your dust; rise up, sit enthroned, Jerusalem. Free yourself from the chains on your neck, Daughter Zion, now a captive.

3 For this is what the LORD says: “You were sold for nothing, and without money you will be redeemed.”

4 For this is what the Sovereign LORD says: “At first my people went down to Egypt to live; lately, Assyria has oppressed them.

5 “And now what do I have here?” declares the LORD. “For my people have been taken away for nothing, and those who rule them mock, ” declares the LORD. “And all day long my name is constantly blasphemed.

6 Therefore my people will know my name; therefore in that day they will know that it is I who foretold it. Yes, it is I.”

7 How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of those who bring good news, who proclaim peace, who bring good tidings, who proclaim salvation, who say to Zion, “Your God reigns!”

8 Listen! Your watchmen lift up their voices; together they shout for joy. When the LORD returns to Zion, they will see it with their own eyes.

9 Burst into songs of joy together, you ruins of Jerusalem, for the LORD has comforted his people, he has redeemed Jerusalem.

10 The LORD will lay bare his holy arm in the sight of all the nations, and all the ends of the earth will see the salvation of our God.

11 Depart, depart, go out from there! Touch no unclean thing! Come out from it and be pure, you who carry the articles of the LORD’s house.

12 But you will not leave in haste or go in flight; for the LORD will go before you, the God of Israel will be your rear guard.

13 See, my servant will act wisely ; he will be raised and lifted up and highly exalted.

14 Just as there were many who were appalled at him — his appearance was so disfigured beyond that of any human being and his form marred beyond human likeness—

15 so he will sprinkle many nations,and kings will shut their mouths because of him. For what they were not told, they will see, and what they have not heard, they will understand.
