15 Und ich habe alle meine Knechte, die Propheten, zu euch gesandt, früh mich aufmachend und sendend, und habe gesprochen: Kehret doch um, ein jeder von seinem bösen Wege, und machet eure Handlungen gut, und wandelt nicht anderen Göttern nach, um ihnen zu dienen, so sollt ihr in dem Lande wohnen, das ich euch und euren Vätern gegeben habe; aber ihr habt eurer Ohr nicht geneigt und nicht auf mich gehört.

Again and again I sent all my servants the prophets to you. They said, “Each of you must turn from your wicked ways and reform your actions; do not follow other gods to serve them. Then you will live in the land I have given to you and your ancestors.” But you have not paid attention or listened to me.
