Job 2:7-10

ESV 7 So Satan went out from the presence of the LORD and struck Job with loathsome sores from the sole of his foot to the crown of his head. NIV 7 So Satan went out from the presence of the LORD and afflicted Job with painful sores from the soles of his feet to the crown of his head. ESV 8 And he took a piece of broken pottery with which to scrape himself while he sat in the ashes. NIV 8 Then Job took a piece of broken pottery and scraped himself with it as he sat among the ashes. ESV 9 Then his wife said to him, "Do you still hold fast your integrity? Curse God and die." NIV 9 His wife said to him, “Are you still maintaining your integrity? Curse God and die!” ESV 10 But he said to her, "You speak as one of the foolish women would speak. Shall we receive good from God, and shall we not receive evil?"In all this Job did not sin with his lips. NIV 10 He replied, “You are talking like a foolish woman. Shall we accept good from God, and not trouble?” In all this, Job did not sin in what he said.
