1 Wǒ shí shízaì zaì de gàosu nǐmen , rén jìn yángjuàn , bú cōng mén jìn qù , dào cōng biè chù pá jìn qù , nà rén jiù shì qiángdào .
1 “Very truly I tell you Pharisees, anyone who does not enter the sheep pen by the gate, but climbs in by some other way, is a thief and a robber.
2 Cōng mén jìn qù de , cái shì yáng de mùrén .
2 The one who enters by the gate is the shepherd of the sheep.
3 Kān mén de jiù gĕi tā kāi mén . yáng yĕ tīng tāde shēngyīn . tā àn zhe míng jiào zìjǐ de yáng , bǎ yáng lǐng chūlai .
3 The gatekeeper opens the gate for him, and the sheep listen to his voice. He calls his own sheep by name and leads them out.
4 Jì fàng chū zìjǐ de yáng lái , jiù zaì qiántou zǒu , yáng yĕ gēn zhé tā , yīnwei rèn dé tāde shēngyīn .
4 When he has brought out all his own, he goes on ahead of them, and his sheep follow him because they know his voice.
5 Yáng bù gēn zhe shēngrén , yīnwei bú rèn dé tāde shēngyīn . bìyào taópǎo .
5 But they will never follow a stranger; in fact, they will run away from him because they do not recognize a stranger’s voice.”
6 Yēsū jiāng zhè bǐyù gàosu tāmen . dàn tāmen bú míngbai suǒ shuō de shì shénme yìsi .
6 Jesus used this figure of speech, but the Pharisees did not understand what he was telling them.
7 Suǒyǐ Yēsū yòu duì tāmen shuō , wǒ shí shízaì zaì de gàosu nǐmen , wǒ jiù shì yáng de mén ,
7 Therefore Jesus said again, “Very truly I tell you, I am the gate for the sheep.
8 Fán zaì wǒ yǐ xiān lái de , dōu shì zéi , shì qiángdào . yáng què bù tīng tāmen .
8 All who have come before me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep have not listened to them.
9 Wǒ jiù shì mén . fán cōng wǒ jìnlái de , bìrán déjiù , bìngqiĕ chūrù dé cǎo chī .
9 I am the gate; whoever enters through me will be saved. They will come in and go out, and find pasture.
10 Dàozéi lái , wúfēi yào tōuqiè , shāhaì , huǐhuaì . wǒ lái le , shì yào jiào yáng ( huò zuò rén ) dé shēngmìng , bìngqiĕ dé de gēng fēngshèng .
10 The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.
11 Wǒ shì hǎo mùrén , hǎo mùrén wèi yáng shĕmìng .
11 “I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep.
12 Ruò shì gùgōng , bù shì mùrén , yáng yĕ bù shì tā zìjǐ de , tā kànjian láng lái , jiù piĕ xià yáng taó zǒu . láng zhuāzhù yáng , gǎnsàn le yáng qún .
12 The hired hand is not the shepherd and does not own the sheep. So when he sees the wolf coming, he abandons the sheep and runs away. Then the wolf attacks the flock and scatters it.
13 Gùgōng taó zǒu , yīnwei tā shì gùgōng , bīng bù gùniàn yáng .
13 The man runs away because he is a hired hand and cares nothing for the sheep.
14 Wǒ shì hǎo mùrén . wǒ rènshi wǒde yáng , wǒde yáng yĕ rènshi wǒ .
14 “I am the good shepherd; I know my sheep and my sheep know me—
15 Zhēng rú fù rènshi wǒ , wǒ yĕ rènshi fù yíyàng . bìngqiĕ wǒ wéi yáng shĕmìng .
15 just as the Father knows me and I know the Father—and I lay down my life for the sheep.
16 Wǒ Lìngwaì yǒu yáng , bù shì zhège juān lǐ de . wǒ bìxū lǐng tāmen lái , tāmen yĕ yào tīng wǒde shēngyīn . bìngqiĕ yào hé chéng yī qún , guī yī gè mùrén le .
16 I have other sheep that are not of this sheep pen. I must bring them also. They too will listen to my voice, and there shall be one flock and one shepherd.
17 Wǒ fù aì wǒ , yīn wǒ jiāng méng shè qù , hǎozaì qǔhuí lái .
17 The reason my Father loves me is that I lay down my life—only to take it up again.
18 Méiyǒu rén duó wǒde méng qù , shì wǒ zìjǐ shè de . wǒ yǒu quánbǐng shè le , yĕ yǒu quánbǐng qǔhuí lái . zhè shì wǒ cōng fù suǒ shòu de mìnglìng .
18 No one takes it from me, but I lay it down of my own accord. I have authority to lay it down and authority to take it up again. This command I received from my Father.”
19 Yóutaìrén wèi zhèxie huà , yòu qǐ le fēn zhēng .
19 The Jews who heard these words were again divided.
20 Neì zhōng yǒu hǎoxiē rén shuō , tā shì beì guǐ fùzhuó , érqiĕ fēng le . wèishénme tīng tā ne .
20 Many of them said, “He is demon-possessed and raving mad. Why listen to him?”
21 Yòu yǒu rén shuō , zhè bù shì guǐ fù zhī rén suǒ shuō de huà . guǐ qǐnéng jiào xiāzi de yǎnjing kāi le ne .
21 But others said, “These are not the sayings of a man possessed by a demon. Can a demon open the eyes of the blind?”
22 Zaì Yēlùsǎlĕng yǒu xiū diàn jiē . shì dōngtiān de shíhou .
22 Then came the Festival of Dedication at Jerusalem. It was winter,
23 Yēsū zaì diàn lǐ Suǒluómén de láng xià xíng zǒu .
23 and Jesus was in the temple courts walking in Solomon’s Colonnade.
24 Yóutaìrén wéi zhe tā , shuō , nǐ jiào wǒmen yóuyí bù déng dào jǐshí ne . nǐ ruò shì Jīdū , jiù míng míng de gàosu wǒmen .
24 The Jews who were there gathered around him, saying, “How long will you keep us in suspense? If you are the Messiah, tell us plainly.”
25 Yēsū huídá shuō , wǒ yǐjing gàosu nǐmen , nǐmen bù xìn . wǒ fèng wǒ fù zhī míng suǒ xíng de shì , kĕYǐwèi wǒ zuò jiànzhèng .
25 Jesus answered, “I did tell you, but you do not believe. The works I do in my Father’s name testify about me,
26 Zhǐshì nǐmen bú xìn , yīnwei nǐmen bù shì wǒde yáng .
26 but you do not believe because you are not my sheep.
27 Wǒde yáng tīng wǒde shēngyīn , wǒ yĕ rènshi tāmen , tāmen yĕ gēn zhe wǒ .
27 My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me.
28 Wǒ yòu cìgĕi tāmen yǒngshēng . tāmen yǒng bú mièwáng , shuí yĕ bùnéng cōng wǒ shǒu lǐ bǎ tāmen duó qù .
28 I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand.
29 Wǒ fù bǎ yáng cìgĕi wǒ , tā bǐ wàn yǒu dōu dà . shuí yĕ bùnéng cōng wǒ fù shǒu lǐ bǎ tā duó qù .
29 My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all; no one can snatch them out of my Father’s hand.
30 Wǒ yù fù yuán wéi yī .
30 I and the Father are one.”
31 Yóutaìrén yòu ná qǐ shítou yào dǎ tā .
31 Again his Jewish opponents picked up stones to stone him,
32 Yēsū duì tāmen shuō , wǒ cōng fù xiǎn chū xǔduō shàn shì gĕi nǐmen kān , nǐmen shì wéi nà yī jiàn shì ná shítou dá wǒ ne .
32 but Jesus said to them, “I have shown you many good works from the Father. For which of these do you stone me?”
33 Yóutaìrén huídá shuō , wǒmen bù shì wéi shàn shì ná shítou dǎ nǐ , shì nǐ shuō jiànwàng de huà . yòu wéi nǐ shì gèrén , fǎn jiāng zìjǐ dàng zuò shén .
33 “We are not stoning you for any good work,” they replied, “but for blasphemy, because you, a mere man, claim to be God.”
34 Yēsū shuō , nǐmen de lǜfǎ shàng qǐbù shì xiĕ zhe , wǒ céng shuō nǐmen shì shén má .
34 Jesus answered them, “Is it not written in your Law, ‘I have said you are “gods” ’?
35 Jīng shàng dé huà shì bùnéng feì de . ruò nàxiē chéngshòu shén dào de rén , shàngqiĕ chēngwèi shén ,
35 If he called them ‘gods,’ to whom the word of God came—and Scripture cannot be set aside—
36 Fù suǒ fēnbié wéi shèng , yòu chāi dào shì jiān lái de , tā zìchēng shì shén de érzi , nǐmen hái xiàng tā shuō , nǐ shuō jiànwàng de huà ma .
36 what about the one whom the Father set apart as his very own and sent into the world? Why then do you accuse me of blasphemy because I said, ‘I am God’s Son’?
37 Wǒ ruò bú xíng wǒ fù de shì , nǐmen jiù bù bì xìn wǒ .
37 Do not believe me unless I do the works of my Father.
38 Wǒ ruò xíng le , nǐmen zòngrán bú xìn wǒ , yĕ dāng xìn zhèxie shì . jiào nǐmen yòu zhīdào , yòu míngbai , fù zaì wǒ lǐmiàn , wǒ yĕ zaì fù lǐmiàn .
38 But if I do them, even though you do not believe me, believe the works, that you may know and understand that the Father is in me, and I in the Father.”
39 Tāmen yòu yào ná tā . tā què taó chū tāmende shǒu zǒu le .
39 Again they tried to seize him, but he escaped their grasp.
40 Yēsū yòu wǎng Yuēdànhé waì qù , dào le Yuēhàn qǐchū shīxǐ de dìfang , jiù zhù zaì nàli .
40 Then Jesus went back across the Jordan to the place where John had been baptizing in the early days. There he stayed,
41 Yǒu xǔduō rén lái dào Tānàli . tāmen shuō Yuēhàn yī jiàn shénjī méiyǒu xíng guō . dàn Yuēhàn zhǐ zhe zhè rén suǒ shuō de yīqiè huà dōu shì zhēn de .
41 and many people came to him. They said, “Though John never performed a sign, all that John said about this man was true.”
42 Zaì nàli xìn Yēsū de rén jiù duō le .
42 And in that place many believed in Jesus.
