John 10:28-38

VULA 28 et ego vitam aeternam do eis et non peribunt in aeternum et non rapiet eas quisquam de manu mea NIV 28 I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand. VULA 29 Pater meus quod dedit mihi maius omnibus est et nemo potest rapere de manu Patris mei NIV 29 My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all; no one can snatch them out of my Father’s hand. VULA 30 ego et Pater unum sumus NIV 30 I and the Father are one.” VULA 31 sustulerunt lapides Iudaei ut lapidarent eum NIV 31 Again his Jewish opponents picked up stones to stone him, VULA 32 respondit eis Iesus multa opera bona ostendi vobis ex Patre meo propter quod eorum opus me lapidatis NIV 32 but Jesus said to them, “I have shown you many good works from the Father. For which of these do you stone me?” VULA 33 responderunt ei Iudaei de bono opere non lapidamus te sed de blasphemia et quia tu homo cum sis facis te ipsum Deum NIV 33 “We are not stoning you for any good work,” they replied, “but for blasphemy, because you, a mere man, claim to be God.” VULA 34 respondit eis Iesus nonne scriptum est in lege vestra quia ego dixi dii estis NIV 34 Jesus answered them, “Is it not written in your Law, ‘I have said you are “gods” ’? VULA 35 si illos dixit deos ad quos sermo Dei factus est et non potest solvi scriptura NIV 35 If he called them ‘gods,’ to whom the word of God came—and Scripture cannot be set aside— VULA 36 quem Pater sanctificavit et misit in mundum vos dicitis quia blasphemas quia dixi Filius Dei sum NIV 36 what about the one whom the Father set apart as his very own and sent into the world? Why then do you accuse me of blasphemy because I said, ‘I am God’s Son’? VULA 37 si non facio opera Patris mei nolite credere mihi NIV 37 Do not believe me unless I do the works of my Father. VULA 38 si autem facio et si mihi non vultis credere operibus credite ut cognoscatis et credatis quia in me est Pater et ego in Patre NIV 38 But if I do them, even though you do not believe me, believe the works, that you may know and understand that the Father is in me, and I in the Father.”
