Joshua 7:20-24

NRSA 20 And Achan answered Joshua, "It is true; I am the one who sinned against the Lord God of Israel. This is what I did: NIV 20 Achan replied, “It is true! I have sinned against the LORD, the God of Israel. This is what I have done: NRSA 21 when I saw among the spoil a beautiful mantle from Shinar, and two hundred shekels of silver, and a bar of gold weighing fifty shekels, then I coveted them and took them. They now lie hidden in the ground inside my tent, with the silver underneath." NIV 21 When I saw in the plunder a beautiful robe from Babylonia, two hundred shekels of silver and a bar of gold weighing fifty shekels, I coveted them and took them. They are hidden in the ground inside my tent, with the silver underneath.” NRSA 22 So Joshua sent messengers, and they ran to the tent; and there it was, hidden in his tent with the silver underneath. NIV 22 So Joshua sent messengers, and they ran to the tent, and there it was, hidden in his tent, with the silver underneath. NRSA 23 They took them out of the tent and brought them to Joshua and all the Israelites; and they spread them out before the Lord. NIV 23 They took the things from the tent, brought them to Joshua and all the Israelites and spread them out before the LORD. NRSA 24 Then Joshua and all Israel with him took Achan son of Zerah, with the silver, the mantle, and the bar of gold, with his sons and daughters, with his oxen, donkeys, and sheep, and his tent and all that he had; and they brought them up to the Valley of Achor. NIV 24 Then Joshua, together with all Israel, took Achan son of Zerah, the silver, the robe, the gold bar, his sons and daughters, his cattle, donkeys and sheep, his tent and all that he had, to the Valley of Achor.
